Back-end is the invisible side of websites and applications — it manages databases, servers, and business logic. Every system working behind the scenes when you click a button is written with back-end code.
Python, JavaScript (Node.js), SQL, REST API, and server management form the core skill set of a back-end developer. At Maestro School, all of these technologies are taught through real projects.
Yes — back-end is a field that can be learned completely independently; front-end knowledge is not mandatory. However, knowing both opens up broader job opportunities as a full-stack developer.
In Azerbaijan, a mid-level back-end developer can earn 1,500–3,000 AZN monthly, while those working for international companies or remotely can earn more than 3,000 AZN. On the global market, this figure reaches $70,000–$120,000 annually.
Depending on the chosen program, full preparation from the basics to real projects is possible within 4–8 months. It is recommended to contact Maestro School for detailed schedule information.
