Front-end is the part of a website the user directly sees and interacts with — buttons, animations, forms, and colors. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are the three core pillars of this field.
HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics, followed by modern frameworks like React or Vue.js, form the core skill set of a front-end developer. At Maestro School, all of these technologies are taught through real website projects.
Front-end manages the part the user sees, while back-end handles the server, database, and business logic running behind the scenes. A specialist who knows both is called a full-stack developer.
HTML/CSS basics can be mastered in 1–2 months; reaching a hireable level with JavaScript and React takes an average of 6–9 months. Consistent practice significantly speeds up this process.
Most employers look at the portfolio before the CV — the real websites you've built, your GitHub repository, and live projects are the strongest proof of your skills. At Maestro School, every student builds a real portfolio throughout the course.
